Frank and Eileen were having an affair. Eileen's husband, Harold, found out and tried to destroy Frank's business. Frank threatened to bring the affair and underhanded business dealings into the open. Harold told Eileen he'd leave her penniless if word got out. Eileen tried to talk Frank into remaining quiet, then, in desperation, shot him.
