What is a Sports Extra Membership?

A Sports Extra Day Membership gives you instant access for 24 hours, while a Sports Extra Month Membership gives you unlimited access. Whichever membership you choose, you can watch big events across Premier Sports and TNT Sports.

What’s the difference between a Sports Membership and a Sports Extra Membership?

With a Sports Membership you can watch Sky Sports, with access to 12 Sky Sports channels and every Sky Sports + stream.

With a Sports Extra Membership, you can watch Premier Sports & TNT Sports, with access to all six live channels across both.

Can I get Sky Sports with a Sports Extra Membership?

No, a Sports Extra Membership alone will not give you access to Sky Sports, as this is only available with a Sports Membership.

If you’d like Premier Sports and TNT Sports as well as Sky Sports, you can buy a Sports Bundle. If you’d just like Sky Sports, choose a Sports Membership.

Can I cancel my Sports Extra Membership?

Your Sports Extra Day Membership will last for 24 hours. There’s no need to cancel – your membership will end 24 hours from when you buy it.

If you purchase a ‘No contract’ Sports Extra Month Membership, you can cancel at anytime. You’ll still be able to stream until the end of that 30-day viewing period. With a Saver Sports Bundle, cancel anytime is effective at the end of the minimum term. You'll still be able to stream until the end of the viewing period.

What do I get with NOW Boost and Ultra Boost?

Boost and Ultra Boost are add-ons that enhance your streaming experience, which you can upgrade to when you buy an Entertainment, Cinema or Sports Month Membership.

With Boost, you can stream ad-free* , in Full HD** (1080p), with Dolby Digital 5.1 audio and on 2 devices at once. If you want to enhance your experience even further, the Ultra-Boost add-on allows you to stream ad-free*, in 4K Ultra HD** with Dolby Atmos surround sound and on 3 devices at once.

*Ad-free excludes live channels and trailers promoting NOW. Boost and Ultra Boost do not remove ads from live sports and channels. **Features available on selected content and devices only. You'll need a minimum internet speed of 12Mpbs to utilise Boost and 30Mpbs for Ultra Boost.

Is there a free trial?

Free trials aren’t available with a Sports Extra Month Membership, but you can join for a day with a Sports Extra Day Membership (one-off price of €14.99).

Does my Sports Extra Day Membership start right away?

Yes, your NOW Sports Extra Day Membership starts immediately after purchase and lasts for 24 hours. It can’t be paused.
