With Boost you can stream ad-free* compared to our standard ad-supported experience, in Full HD** (1080p), with Dolby Digital 5.1 audio and on 2 devices at once.

Ultra Boost is an add-on to your membership that further enhances your viewing experience, which you can upgrade to when you buy your Entertainment, Cinema or Sports Membership. With Ultra Boost you can stream ad-free* compared to our standard ad-supported experience, in 4K Ultra HD** with Dolby Atmos audio and on 3 devices at once.

Yes, new customers are eligible for a free trial of Boost or Ultra Boost, which will auto-renew at £6 a month for Boost and £9 a month for Ultra Boost after your free trial period.

You can add the free trial to your Membership before checkout. The length of the free trial varies per Membership:

  • With a Sports Month Membership you can add a 1-month free trial
  • With an Entertainment Membership you can add a 7-day free trial
  • With a Cinema Membership you can add a 7-day free trial

Yes. If you do not cancel Boost or Ultra Boost within your free trial period, your subscription will automatically auto-renew at £6 per month (Boost) or £9 per month (Ultra Boost). If this happens and auto-renew occurs, you can still cancel ahead of the next month and retain your viewing experience subscription until the end of the month.

Keep in mind, if you cancel your last NOW Month Membership (Sports, Cinema, Entertainment or Hayu) we’ll automatically cancel your Boost or Ultra Boost subscription for you as well. But if you're billed by iTunes and you cancel your last NOW Month Membership, you'll need to remember to cancel Boost or Ultra Boost with Apple as well.

If you do not cancel your NOW Boost or Ultra Boost subscription within the free trial period, you will be charged automictically after the free trial ends. This will be a re-occurring monthly payment, unless cancelled. You can cancel anytime.
